Tenerife provides Spanish state educational facilities for residents, which is complemented with additional British, German and Spanish private schools requiring fees. There are four British schools in Tenerife, the main one in the South is Wingate School, which has been established for nearly 25 years. Alternatively if wish your child to be more integrated in the Spanish educational system, then perhaps somewhere like Luther King Sur would be more suitable. Places are limited as the school is very popular. Children from the ages of 3 – 18 are once again catered for here but they follow the spanish curriculum, with an emphasis on being a bilingual school.
